(Lesson 2) HAVE GOT: NEGATIVE FORM

Hoy nos toca aprender la forma negativa del verbo que estamos estudiando, HAVE GOT.

Copialo en la tabla que hicimos en la lección 2.


    NEGATIVE FORM      SHORT FORM        MEANING
  • I have not got          I haven't got           (Yo) no tengo.
  • You have not got     You haven't got      (Tú) no tienes.
  • He has not got         He hasn't got          (El) no tiene.
  • She has not got       She hasn't got         (Ella) no tiene.
  • It has not got           It hasn't got            (Ello) no tiene.
  • We have not got      We haven't got        (Nosotros) no tenemos.
  • You have not got     You haven't got       (Vosotros) no tenéis.
  • They have not got    They haven't got     (Ellos) no tienen.
Y como siempre, ahora toca practicar con los siguientes ejercicios.

10) Tom and Emily books on their desk.
    4.- Complete the sentences with verb 'to have got' in affirmative or negative form.

    1) They like animals. They ..... three dogs and two cats.
    2) Sarah ..... a car. She goes everywhere by bicycle.
    3) Everybody likes Tom. He ..... a lot of friends.
    4) Mr and Mrs Johnson ..... two children, a boy and a girl.
    5) An insect ..... six legs.

    7) Quick! Hurry! We ..... much time.
    8) 'What's wrong?'  'I ..... something in my eye.'
